Daniel Garza: Small Business Person of the Year

Reel Simple Productions (RSP), founded by Daniel Garza, opened its doors on January 1, 2006. Under Dan's leadership, RSP has grown from a two-man shop to five salaried employees. Their facilities have increased from a small 1000 sq. foot office to a new 4400 square foot building. Early on they recognized the significance of the "digital revolution" as it would affect the production and delivery of all media. Their business plan was tailored to take advantage of relatively inexpensive technology that would allow them to compete with larger more established companies.

Daniel Garza currently serves on the Chamber of Commerce's Board of Directors. He's also the Chair of the Small Business Council and in addition, his company, RSP, routinely makes in-kind donations to numerous charities to include: MDA, March of Dimes, Special Olympics, and more.

His continual commitment to his business and the Corpus Christi community make Daniel Garza the obvious choice for 2010 Small Business Person of the Year.
