Larry Ellis: Small Business Counselor of the Year

Larry Ellis is the SBDC Rural Program Manager and a Certified Business Advisor, Level IV who efficiently and effectively services eight very rural counties. Businesses within those counties continue to improve every year with his expert assistance. Larry has been with SBDC since October 2000. Although he spends every day of the week in a different city and rural office, he has become particularly adept at servicing all his clients very efficiently. Larry has worked exceptionally hard to establish and foster relationships with his rural stakeholders and referral network. He has become a vital and respected advisor throughout his eight counties; and beyond. His referral network has relied upon him to assist clients even beyond the boundaries of his service area.

Larry continues to exemplify a Small Business Development Center Senior Counselor. His evident ethics and commitment to clients has been lauded both by clients and area leaders.
