Ralph Diaz: Family-Owned Business of the Year

Ralph Diaz is President of C.C. Disposal, Inc. which was founded in 1942 by G.B. Diaz. Mr. Diaz began his career as a teenager, working his way up in the company as an assistant on the waste trucks, a driver, a salesperson, an operations employee, and finally to management. He has held every position in the company during his 30 years as an employee and manager.

A couple years ago, the company participated in SBDC's Small Business Logo Development program; offering Del Mar College advertising and graphic design students an opportunity to gain real world experience. The implementation of television and billboard advertising and the www.ccdisposal.net website has secured the company's position as the #1 waste disposal company in South Texas.

The firm is a large supporter of Goodwill Industries, and Mr. Diaz serves on numerous local Board's of Directors. He has also been the recipient of many community and national awards for his entrepreneurial success.
