Robert Browning: SCORE Counselor for 2010

Robert Browning has always been civic minded, believing in giving back to the community that embraced him with open arms. He gave tirelessly to the coastal bend throughout his more than four decades of entrepreneurship.

In March of 2007, Robert made the difficult decision to close his business after 49 years of overseeing its operation; family his top priority. But he couldn't turn his back on the business community.

He learned about SCORE Corpus Christi and joined exactly one year after his retirement in March of 2008. To say he hit the ground running with the organization is an understatement. Almost immediately he accepted a leadership role within the organization as Marketing Chair. By the summer of 2009, Robert agreed to take over Chapter Chair duties. His leadership role has ushered the organization into a new era.
SCORE Corpus Christi, Chapter 221, is proud to have Robert Browning as the SCORE Counselor of the Year for 2010.
